Historic Green Emerging Green Builders
Historic Green EGB The JRGBC Emerging Green Builders (EGB) inaugural event was a big success as a group from Virginia, led by Scott Blossom, participated in the USGBC’s Historic Green in New Orleans. Students, architects, engineers, planners, landscape architects, interior designers, and contractors spent their vacations and spring breaks working hand-in-hand with neighborhood residents on their historic houses, parks, playgrounds and community centers in the Holy Cross neighborhood. Many EGBers from across the country participated in this event to help the community increase energy efficiency and enhance their quality of life, housing and transportation after Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
