The fourth installment in JRGBC’s Luncheon Series, “Building/Home Construction and Systems,” will take place on July 16th at 11:45-2:00 p.m. at the VCU Student Commons. To reserve your spot, please purchase tickets in advance here.
This program will explore sustainability on a neighborhood scale. Chris Earley from Greening Urban will talk about the LEED for Neighborhood Development program, and Bob Newman from Better Housing Coalition will discuss that organization and its commitment to sustainability in its housing redevelopment projects. A panel discussion with the audience will follow.
Personal Choices, Regional Solutions” is a year-long luncheon series that will explore a deeper understanding of green strategies and practices; from an understanding of an individual’s environmental footprint, to regional strategies for smarter growth and development. Sustainability exists on all scales and each piece interconnects with the others.
