The Garden Club of Virginia will host its 51st Annual Conservation Forum in the Abbott Center Auditorium at the Darden School of Business on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, on November 6, 2009.  On Friday morning, November 6^th, well-known local leaders in academic, government and conservation will offer creative strategies by which cities and towns can fundamentally reduce their ecological footprints while at the same time becoming more livable, economically viable places.
